About

Kiko Yamada is a Hawaii based artist. She was living and drawing caricatures at her stand on Maui but unfortunatly on August 8th 2023, the Lahaina fires burned down her business and she has since moved to Honolulu.
She was born into a family of artists. Her mother was a children’s book illustrator and her father painted movie posters and book covers. From the moment she could hold a pencil, she knew she wanted to be an artist. In 2010, while attending Art Center College of Design, she got her first caricature job at Universal Studios. She instantly fell in love with the art of caricature and has since become one of the worlds most prestigious caricature artists. With over 14 international caricature awards, she has traveled the world with her caricature artist reputation. Besides drawing in 30 states in the US, she has drawn caricatures in Korea, taught seminars in Japan and was the Guest of Honor at the caricature convention in Vienna. Her art is a reflection of her:
colorful, fun and silly
